Misdemeanor Law
Misdemeanor law is a part of public law of a certain state (lat. ius publicum) through which that state exercises its right to punish offenders (lat. ius puniendi). Along with criminal acts and disciplinary offenses, misdemeanors represent just one type of punishable actions in the criminal legal system. The term Misdemeanor law refers to a whole set of legal regulations that prescribe offenses and sanctions specifically intended for those offenses.
